To increase traffic and visibility for a handmade Etsy store selling personalized gifts for newborns, such as custom name signs, baby milestone cards, and gift bundles for baby showers.

The store was receiving low organic traffic, had an inconsistent visual style, and relied heavily on Etsyâs built-in exposure (like app views). The owner wanted to get more consistent views from search, improve sales through better targeting, and make the shop feel trustworthy and professional.

With a full SEO overhaul, visual rebranding, and ad optimization, the Etsy store saw dramatically improved traffic from both organic and paid sources. The store now attracts more targeted buyers looking for high-quality, customized newborn gifts, and is positioned as a trustworthy and professional brand within its niche.

1. Full Etsy SEO Optimization
- Conducted keyword research using EtsyRank and Marmalead to find high-volume, low-competition keywords related to:

- âBaby shower gift setâ
- Updated all product titles, tags, and descriptions to reflect keyword structure.
- Improved image alt texts and added relevant long-tail keywords in bullet-point descriptions.
- Result: Organic Etsy Search views increased from 4 to 110, and SEO & marketing views rose from 0 to 11.
2. Visual & Brand Optimization
- Redesigned the product photos using cohesive backgrounds and consistent lighting to match a soft, baby-themed aesthetic.
- Improved banner design, shop icon, and product thumbnails to give the store a more professional and warm appearance.
- Added trust triggers: clear policies, customer reviews, badges, and a strong "About" section.
3. Etsy Ads Setup & Optimization
- Audited existing ads and found wasted budget on untargeted broad keywords.
